Approval required

What it means

Returned by POST /orgs/{org}/security/release-findings/{id}/dismiss when your organisation requires approval for dismissals and the caller is not an approver. Dismissals on release branches do not go through the request-and-approve queue yet, so only an approver can dismiss there. The finding stays open.

Example detail message returned with this error:

• This organisation requires an approver to accept a finding; ask an approver to dismiss it.

What to do

Ask an exception approver to dismiss the finding, or fix it. See Dismissals require approval.
