Custom rules URL removed
type | https://docs.frem.sh/reference/api/errors/custom-rules-url-removed |
| HTTP status | 400 Bad Request |
What it means
You sent a value for custom_rules_url in the SAST settings. That field is retired: fremforge never fetches rules from a URL. An organisation’s own rules are stored in the platform.
Example detail messages returned with this error:
- custom_rules_url is no longer supported: add your rules with /orgs/{org}/code-security/sast/custom-rules. Send null or omit it.
What to do
Send null, "" or leave the field out, and add each rule with /orgs/{org}/code-security/sast/custom-rules instead. In Terraform, remove custom_rules_url from fremforge_sast_settings and declare each rule as a fremforge_sast_custom_rule resource.
Response shape
All fremforge API errors are RFC 9457 problem+json:
{
"type": "https://docs.frem.sh/reference/api/errors/custom-rules-url-removed",
"title": "Bad Request",
"status": 400,
"detail": "..."
}Branch on type, not on title or detail - those are human-readable and may be reworded.
