What it means

The request was malformed, or a field failed validation.

Example detail messages returned with this error:

• artifact_version must match /^[A-Za-z0-9][A-Za-z0-9._/-]{0,254}$/.

What to do

Correct the artifact_version value - detail names what was wrong.
