Invalid environment

What it means

The environment field of an SBOM upload is not one of the four environment classes.

Example detail messages returned with this error:

• environment must be one of sandbox, development, test, production.

What to do

Send sandbox, development, test or production, or leave the field out. The class is shown in the component inventory and does not change retention or any gate.
