Invalid scope

HTTP status400 Bad Request

What it means

The request was malformed, or a field failed validation.

Example detail messages returned with this error:

  • commit_sha is required for a commit-scoped override.
  • rule_id is required for a rule-scoped override.
  • path_pattern is required for a path-scoped override.

What to do

The requested scope is not in the vocabulary. See the scope list under securitySchemes in the OpenAPI spec - note the names are plural (orgs:read, not org:read).
