HTTP status409 Conflict

What it means

Work cannot be declared with start work (fremforge work start, start_work) in an archived repository: nothing can be pushed there, so the work could never begin or end.

Example detail messages returned with this error:

  • acme/web is archived: nothing can be pushed there, so no work can be started in it.

What to do

Start the work in a repository that is not archived, or ask an owner to unarchive this one (repository Settings › Danger zone), then retry.
