Read-only auditor

What it means

You are a member of the organisation’s Auditors team, which can read settings but never change them. The request was refused before it reached the endpoint.

Example detail messages returned with this error:

• Read-only auditor: only GET and HEAD requests are allowed.
• Read-only auditor: this endpoint is not available to auditors.

What to do

• For a change: ask an owner of the organisation to make it.
• For a refused GET: the endpoint hands out a download or a credential that auditors are not given, such as a data export, an SBOM download, raw CI logs or the billing export. Ask an owner for the file.
